Aston Martin and Bowmore have unveiled the Bowmore ARC-54, the second and final release in their collaborative ARC series. This exceptional 54-year-old single malt Scotch whisky embodies the fusion of automotive innovation and whisky craftsmanship.

A Legacy Distilled

Distilled in November 1968, the Bowmore ARC-54 has matured for over five decades in Bowmore’s No.1 Vaults. The whisky’s composition includes 61.8% aged in a second-fill European oak sherry butt and 38.2% in a third-fill American oak hogshead, meticulously married for 15 months. This process results in a complex profile featuring tropical fruits, spice, nuttiness, and a subtle hint of Islay peat smoke.

Design Inspired by Hypercar Engineering

The decanter housing this rare whisky draws inspiration from Aston Martin’s Valkyrie hypercar. Its design mirrors the car’s aerodynamic features, including full-length venturi tunnels that generate significant downforce. Crafted with precision, the decanter incorporates a unique magnetic locking system, reflecting both the technical prowess of Aston Martin and the natural fluidity of Islay’s landscapes.

Exclusivity and Availability

With only 130 bottles available globally, the Bowmore ARC-54 is a collector’s gem, priced at £71,000 (approximately $93,339). This release marks the culmination of the Bowmore-Aston Martin partnership, following the earlier ARC-52 edition.

The Bowmore ARC-54 stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, offering connoisseurs a unique experience that celebrates the artistry of both whisky making and automotive design.
